The next version of Logos will be in a subscription mode! See here.
I try to put it in the following 3 big bullet points according to my own understanding:
- It doesn't affect the previous versions or the books you own. Only that the new version includes new features (some are improved ones from Logos 10, like "smart search", "insights").
- The biggest change is AI integration:
- helping you to summarize any piece of passages
- to generate sermon outlines, illustrations and applications etc., depending on the subscription tier.
- The three subscription tiers (Prices below are early access rates):
- small group prep
(Logos Premium)--US$70 each year
- sermon prep (Logos Pro)--US$100 each year
- academic and original
language study (Logos Max)--US$130 each year
Each tiers will come with their own "curated libraries" (bundles of books: 200#, 400#, 500#).
- After paying the subscription for 2 years, you can own some of the books (not in a "permanent way") and non-AI features.
